# Terms of Service — DRAFT

> **DRAFT — not yet reviewed by counsel.** Placeholders in `[brackets]` must be
> filled in and the whole text reviewed by a lawyer before public launch.

**Service:** foamd, the hosted OpenFOAM compute service at `[api.tryreynolds.com]`,
operated by `[Inviscid AI, legal entity + address]` ("we").

## 1. The service

We run OpenFOAM cases you submit, on isolated per-user instances, and store the
files and results you put there. We provide compute and storage only: we do not
review your cases, and we make no representation that any result is physically
correct. Judging a simulation is your job.

## 2. Your account

You need an account (email sign-in). You are responsible for every API key
minted for your account and for everything done with them. Revoke a key the
moment you think it has leaked. One person per account; do not share accounts.

## 3. Acceptable use

Instances are for running CFD and related pre/post-processing. You must not use
them to attack, scan, or mine; to store or distribute content you have no right
to; or to circumvent the limits we set (concurrency, budget, disk, rate limits).
Network egress from instances is disabled. We may suspend an account that
breaks these rules, immediately and without notice where necessary.

## 4. Plans, budgets, limits

Usage is metered per second of running instance time. Each account has a
monthly compute budget; when it is used up, new compute is refused until the
budget resets or is raised. We may change limits and prices with `[30]` days'
notice for paid plans; free-plan limits may change at any time.

## 5. Your data

Everything under `/work` and every study, message, result and artifact you
upload is yours. We keep it so you can come back to it; we do not use it to
train models or for any purpose other than running the service, unless you
tell us we may. Deleting an instance destroys its data immediately and
irreversibly. Deleting your account (from the API or by asking us) removes all
of it — see the Privacy Policy.

## 6. Availability

The service is provided as-is. Instances have a hard 24-hour lifetime and idle
instances are stopped; your data survives both. We do not guarantee uptime, and
we are not liable for lost time, lost results, or consequential damages. Our
total liability is limited to `[the fees you paid us in the preceding 3 months]`.

## 7. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account. We may
close accounts that violate these terms or that are inactive for `[12]` months
after giving notice.

## 8. Changes and contact

We will post changes here and, for material changes, email you. Questions:
`[legal@tryreynolds.com]`. Governing law: `[jurisdiction]`.
